REPAIRS at
Music Warehouse
| Music Warehouse in
Colchester can offer repairs on guitars, basses, mics, p.a. and amplification. |
|
Most of the repairs are carried out by owner Lou Moodie, who has been
playing guitar since 1969. In the 80's Lou learnt many guitar set up
skills from the maestro 'Robbie Gladwell' Dr. Robert in 'The Guitarist '
magazine. Robbie had his workshop upstairs within the Music Warehouse in
Butt Road, Colchester at this time. Re-strings and small jobs will be
carried out by shop staff. Lou specialises in set-ups (to your
requirements) and all guitar electrics, rewire, fixing etc.. Good prices
for a good job.
We can also take on neck break repairs, pick up replacement, fret
dressing, re-frets, total guitar build, refinishing and body repairs, in
fact anything you need done to your instrument. We now have canadian
born Neil Baker who has a degree from Leeds College of music in guitar
building and repairing. Neil does a lot of guitar repairs for most of
the London guitar shops. There are not many guitar luthiers that have
this qualification.
We are also taking on repairs to all amplification, to include p.a. mixers, valve
and transistor amps, speakers pickups etc.. We can repair
anything.
All repairs are done to a
professional standard and come with shop guarantees.
